Ryan Kent

Ryan Kent is another youngster who has gone through the ranks having joined Liverpool as an U9s player. He is definitely a potential wide option for us. The 18-year-old is regarded as one of the hottest prospects in the Academy with talk of his potentially playing more 1st team football this season. He likes to play just off the striker in an advanced position, however due to his pace he does often find himself dazzling the touchline on either wing.

Tony Mowbray has recently admitted that his side have missed the blistering pace of Kent after he went back to Anfield. “The other major change when I have been scanning through the formations we have played is Ryan Kent who gave us break-away speed and space.

He is known as a skillful, creative winger, who has an eye for goal.

He’s really not afraid to take on defenders, causing problems for the opposition defences. A potential wide option

Liverpool are low on wingers who are happy to put in a full shift out wide. Most modern wingers would rather cut inside, but occasionally get lost in a midfield battle. He will however offer Klopp something different during the next season. I’d expect him to be on the plane going to the US shortly. He could be the wide man we may just need…?
