TRANSFER RUMOURS: Liverpool are set to announce signing Hull City’s left-back Andrew Robertson when transfer window opens. He will become our first summer signing as reports from the Mirror that Jurgen Klopp has won the race to sign the defender.
Robertson’s arrival will undoubtedly bolster Klopp’s full-back options and, in turn, mark the Reds going someway towards addressing a priority position.
The 23-year-old has really impressed in his three seasons with Hull City, some great performances have put numerous top sides on red alert ahead of the summer transfer window.
His experience in England’s top flight and his potential is what will have attracted Klopp and given him reason to believe he can be an immediate replacement for stand in full-back James Milner, who would be allowed to move back into his much favoured midfield position.
This would also spark the transfer for Moreno out of the club. Having sat on the bench for most of the season, Moreno must be hoping to move on, there have been numerous occasions that Klopp could have selected him but chose to persist with Milner.
Fulham teenager Ryan Sessegnon has been a target for a while now, so the next question is whether we will see two left-hand appear over the summer.
So next, a centre-back, defensive midfielder, winger and a new forward. It’s a good job that Klopp set to be given the largest transfer budget in Liverpool’s history!!
